Nabi Habeel Mosque. Abel's grave

The tomb of “Abel” in a mosque built at the end of the 16th century. Marble sarcophagus.
This is a place of pilgrimage for Shiites and Druze. Hundreds of Iranians come here daily to worship Abel as the first innocent victim of the power of evil, that is, the first martyr. The Druze, who are the custodians of the mausoleum, believe that Abel was one of them. They believe that his soul is reborn into Druze leaders.
